Dominick the Donkey
I've had this song stuck in my head all Christmas season - Dominick the Donkey (the Italian Christmas Donkey). Have you ever heard the song? I'm from the midwest, and I'd never heard it until I moved out East. The first time I heard it, I would have sworn the lyrics were "it's time to lick the donkey" - only later (after looking up the lyrics on the web) did I find out the lyrics actually were "it's Dominick the donkey". It really is a hilarious song. I found a site nice enough to add a loop of the music to the lyrics. I hope I can infect your brain with this wonderful (wonderfully strange) Christmas song! Ha! I never heard it til I moved out here either! Finally heard it Christmas night for the first time this season, and my god it IS infectious. I was totally bobbing my head and attempting to sing along. LOVE your lyric mistake on that one too, BTW... ;)
