It was my birthday today - 32, ugh! I can't believe I'm 32 already. I'm still in school (graduate school) so I feel like I'm only 25 or something. I thought that by the time I was in my thirties I'd have a husband and kids and be a grown up - ha! I'm so far from that. I need to finish grad school and actually get a job. As for husband and kids... no propects yet, but I'm still waiting for Mr. Right (or at least Mr. Right Now) to come along.
This karaokekitty got the best birthday present I could hope for. I got a professional karaoke machine! Now I can have endless karaoke in my own living room. I really am a mic hog, so it's the perfect gift! The only downside of this gift is that I may never leave my house again. Although, I do miss the audience - not only am I a mic hog, I'm also an attention hog. I guess I'll still have to torture others at my fav karaoke bar! I'm now addicted to buying karaoke CDs on eBay. I've managed to collect over 1500 songs!! I don't know if I'll be able to stop buying CDs - I may need 12-step intervention!
