How many people out there love karaoke? I know, I know - it is a much hated pastime. I happen to be pretty good at singing, so I love it! It gives me a chance to sing somewhere other than my shower. I really hate going to karaoke bars where a bunch of drunk people attempt sing, but just succeed in making fools of themselves. But I also hate singers that obviously deserve a recording contract who hog the mic, ang proceed to blow everyone away with their amazing voices. I think secretly I am one of these people, but I hate being upstaged by someone better than me. I love singing the classics - Carole King, Rickie Lee Jones, Pointer Sisters, etc. All this talk of karaoke - maybe I'll have to go to a karaoke bar tonight! Check me out - I'm on fire!

I love to go to Martini's Bar in Orange, CT on the Boston Post Rd. Here's a link to their site http://www.martinis-cafe.com/
They have karaoke six nights a week. It's a GREAT place for people watching! I've never been to Sonny's, so I can't comment. Have fun!
